The Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont Regional School Districts are committed to fostering a school environment that supports the health, well-being, and academic success of all students and staff. We are kicking off the formation of our new wellness committee to ensure our district policies reflect the needs of our community.
The wellness committee is dedicated to promoting:
- Healthy Nutrition: Providing nutritious, appealing, and healthy meals in our cafeterias.
- Physical Activity: Encouraging opportunities for students to be active, including recess and PE.
- Social-Emotional Health: Supporting mental health and wellness initiatives.
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our committee, including parents/ guardians, students, staff, nurses, food service staff, administrators, and community members. Your perspective is vital to creating a supportive, healthy environment for our children.
Please Get Involved!
