Advanced Placement Offerings

Mohawk Trail offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses for students interested in preparing for college. These courses, while more challenging than traditional high school classes, are fast-paced and can help you prepare for what your academic life will look like in college. You may even be able to save money on college tuition by successfully completing AP courses!

Mohawk Trail AP Offerings

At Mohawk Trail, we offer the following AP courses to high school juniors and seniors. 

  • AP U.S. History
  • AP Biology
  • AP Calculus
  • AP Chemistry
  • AP Computer Science
  • AP English Language and Composition
  • AP English Literature and Composition
  • AP Environmental Science
  • AP Literature
  • AP Physics
  • AP World History (also available to high school sophomores)

Credit Designations

In order to receive AP credit for Advanced Placement courses, students must take the AP exam associated with the course. There is a fee for this exam. Students should consult with their guidance counselor to learn about applying for reduced fees. Students who enroll in an AP course but do not take the associated AP exam will only receive honors credit.

AP exams are only given in May, so please plan accordingly.
