We’re practicing gratitude during the month of November. Gratitude offers significant benefits for both mental and physical health by improving mood, reducing stress, and strengthening relationships. Regular practice can lead to better sleep, higher self-esteem, increased resilience, and a more positive outlook on life. Physically, gratitude is associated with better cardiovascular health, lower risk of depression, and even stronger immunity.
Gratitude can be practiced by reflecting on positive moments, journaling, letting others know we appreciated something, thinking of three good things at the end of each day, acts of kindness, and so much more.
We invite all staff, students, and their families to participate in a community-wide month full of gratitude, positive reflection, and spreading kindness to all. You can choose your own adventure for how you will practice or stop by and see Sari Pace, one of our school adjustment counselors, (room 221) who will have copies of different gratitude booklets and gratitude worksheets to help guide your month.
